At Imagine programs, we understand that recovery from addiction can be a painful and emotional process. We also understand that a lot of times, participating in a treatment program is not always what you want to do, with the understanding that it’s what you need to do. The staff at Imagine Programs expects most of all, that you be open to the possibility, that you can change your life and find your true happiness.
analyzing treatment outcomes. In 2006, Bryan became the Program Director for the Women’s treatment program where he supervised the treatment of 112 female clients every 6 months.
In 2008, Bryan became the Program Director for the entire population at the Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center where he worked closely with Dallas County Probation and Drug Courts in providing treatment for adult felony probationers.
During the course of his career at the Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center, Bryan also worked as a part time consultant and supervisor at The Addicare Group in Garland Texas where he worked closely with counselor interns and students training to be counselors. This is also where Bryan began working with Jay Harrison, CEO of The Addicare Group, who became a long time friend and colleague.
In 2010, After 13 years at the Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center, Bryan decided to pursue his passion for working with Teens and his desire to have a business of his own by teaming up with Jay Harrison to form Imagine Programs, LLC. Bryan and Jay brought their years of experience in the field of chemical dependency to Collin County to create a quality treatment experience utilizing the most up to date treatment approaches.
Bryan, who is also an accomplished musician, designed Imagine Programs to treat addiction through not only the latest cognitive behavioral therapies, but through healthy forms of self expression utilizing music and art. Bryan takes pride in ensuring the Imagine Programs treatment team is made up of like minded individuals that can create a positive experience for the clients.
Bryan is not only a small business owner in Plano, he also lives with his family in Plano and takes pride in serving his community. Bryan and his wife Jeanene spend most of their free time raising their four children, cheering on the Allen Americans Hockey team, and playing music often.
Bryan Wilmut, LCDC
Bryan started in the field of addiction counseling in 1998 beginning his career at the Dallas County Judicial Treatment Center operated by Cornell Companies. In 2000, Bryan earned his license to practice chemical dependency counseling from the Texas Department of State Heath Services, and also holds a degree in criminal justice. Bryan spent most of his formal training developing skills in cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral modification, motivational interviewing, and person centered therapy.
Bryan spent the first part of his career working as a licensed counselor for Cornell Companies in an intensive residential therapeutic community. In 2005, Bryan was promoted to a management position with Cornell where he was responsible for staff development and
Jeanene joined the Imagine team in July of 2011 after spending 14 years in the corporate world of AT&T. Jeanene decided to take a leap of faith in following her passion for helping people, and providing meaningful service to her community by leaving AT&T to pursue a career in Business Management at Imagine Programs. As the business manager, Jeanene takes on many roles at Imagine by assisting clients and their families in communication with referral sources, assisting with financial eligibility, and helping them get enrolled in treatment.
Being that Imagine Programs is a small business, Jeanene often carries the load of HR, Accounting, and Auditing in order to keep all of the staff and programs running like a well oiled machine. With as much energy and passion she puts into running the business, she puts even more energy and passion into her Family. Jeanene and her husband Bryan are not only business owners in Plano, but also members of the Plano community. Jeanene takes pride in raising her family in Plano, and puts forth that pride in work she does at Imagine Programs.
Sarah received her Associates Degree is Substance Abuse Counseling in 2017. She is currently furthering her education in Psychology at University of Texas Permian Basin. Sarah has a true passion for the field of substance abuse counseling. She was able to come out of many years living in the depths of addiction. Sarah’s life in recovery has brought her much joy and purpose to help other people still suffering in addiction. Sarah also works part-time at a church nursery in Flower Mound. Sarah loves to spend time with her 2 young nephews and the rest of her family, watching movies, art projects and swimming.
Heather completed her Associates of Applied Sciences in Substance Abuse Counseling in 2017. She is currently attending University of Texas of the Permian Basin to complete her Bachelor's in Psychology in December 2018 where she will go on to study forensic psychology at The University of Louisiana at Monroe. Heather has a desire to make a difference in the lives of teenagers and young adults through advocacy and counseling. She is recently married to Michael and has one son, Hayden. She enjoys all kinds of arts and crafts, baseball and football, and reading. On the weekends she can usually be found at a karate match with her son, grilling somewhere with family and friends, or decompressing on the couch with a book or TV.
LCDC / Program Manager
Scott completed his Associates of Applied Sciences in Substance Abuse Counseling in 2013. He joined Imagine Programs in August 2013 as a practicum student and was retained after completing his practicum. While majoring in business at Baylor University, Scott experienced addiction first hand. He completed an inpatient treatment program in 2011 and has been clean and active in helping others since. Scott believes spiritual development along with cognitive behavior therapy is the key to sobriety. While working at Imagine Scott has focused on client centered therapy, he believes each client knows what outcome would ultimately be best for them. Scott focuses on building a relationship with each client in order to best serve their needs. Scott is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in psychology and then plans on obtaining a Masters in Biblical Counseling to practice as a LPC. Scott has a passion to work with adolescents and young adults.
On the weekends you will find Scott at a Baylor Football game, fishing, hunting, or spending time with his wife, Jessica, and his two dogs, Carter and Jackson. During the week Scott decompresses with computer games, primarily League of Legends. Scott also enjoys volunteer opportunities through various churches in working with adolescents who have substance use issues and educating members of churches about drug addiction.
